viewer.pngArmoy rugby club was formed in 1975 when i group of local men took it upon themselves to form a wee club in order to have an excuse for a social gather on a Saturday. Orininally the played in Navy blue jerseys with a white collar but was changed some years later to the more reconisable yellow and black hoops wich we wear today. Over the years the club has experienced many triumphs the most recent being last season when we won the Ulste League North and remained unbeaten in the league all season. One particularly sweet victory was over our closest neighbours Ballymoney V who were humbled 62-0 at Limepark.

The club is about to embark on another season on the 03rd of September when Ballymoney visit Limepark. This coming season sees us having to make 5 trips to county Donegal to face some familiar teams and some new additions to our league.
We train on Wednesday evenings @7.30 and this season we have appointed a new coach Ian Caldwell. Ian was captain of a succesful Ballymena 1st XV and has also represented Ulster A.
There is a great deal of enthusiasm at the club presently as we have great plans for expansion  ans hope to have a new club house and changing rooms in place in the near future
